Measure yourself
Follow these four steps to determine the correct length of your Ledgrip stair railing. With a regular tape measure and a pencil, you'll be done in a few minutes.

Step-by-step plan
An accurate measurement ensures a perfectly fitting handrail.
-
Determine the highest and lowest measuring point
Start at the first step at the bottom of the stairs. Measure 80 to 90 cm vertically upwards from the nosing of the step and mark the wall. Do the same for the last step.
These two points form the start and end of your handrail.
-
Measure the distance between the two points
Draw a straight line (or measure the diagonal distance) between the two markings. This is the recommended total length for your Ledgrip handrail.
Tip: leave a few extra cm at the beginning and end for comfortable gripping.
-
Note the measurement in centimeters
Round to the nearest whole cm and enter this value on the product page under the 'Length' field. We will manufacture your handrail to that exact size.
